What is the 27 Challenge?

The 27 Challenge is fun, inclusive and flexible community fundraiser that challenges you to get active – whenever, wherever and however you like – from 1 - 27.

Participants will be invited to sign up and select a challenge to complete over 27 days.

We encourage participants to set up an individual or team fundraising page and help raise funds for vital MND research. We hope that each person sets a goal of $1000 to fundraise over the Spring campaign.

Why 27?

When a person is diagnosed with MND, they are given an average life expectancy of just 27 months. The 27 Challenge invites people to embrace the number 27 and consider the significance of this number for all those impacted by MND, as part of their active challenge and to fundraise for FightMND.

What if I lack motivation?

Good question – it happens to us all. Take a big breath, look deep within and consider those people fighting MND. They are given a diagnosis of 27 months.  Sufferers are given an average life expectancy of only 27 months after diagnosis, knowing there is no cure. Think about these people and what they are going through. Now you think about, 27 days is easy! Do what works for you and try and embrace the number 27. Joining the FightMND 27 Challenge Army Facebook Group is a great way to connect with likeminded individuals and find your motivation.
